Our Team

Mary Williams

Mary earned her BS in Elementary Education from Liberty University. While in school, she
worked as a Kindergarten TA, camp counselor, and served in her church’s preschool. Her
interest in the science of reading and heart for children with learning differences led her to
pursue tutoring reading at The Hill Center, where she still currently works part-time.
Mary grew up in Vermont and New Hampshire and moved to North Carolina in her senior year
of high school. She married the love-of-her-life, Matt, in June of 2022 at the beach. When not at
work, you will find her tutoring reading, teaching Sunday School, curled up on the sofa with
coffee and a biography, and enjoying the outdoors with Matt.
Her favorite Bible verse is Galatians 2:20: “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who
live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of
God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
