Erica Underwood

Erica is so excited to be a part of Heritage Leadership Academy! She strives to honor the Lord in her interactions with the coworkers, students, and the families she will meet. Erica earned her degree in Elementary Education from Piedmont Baptist College (now Carolina University) in Winston Salem. Shortly after graduating college, she married her husband, Chris, in 2011. They have four children together- one daughter and three sons. She has lived in the Raleigh area her whole life. She has spent some time at home raising her children and also some time in the classroom in various grade levels. 

She enjoys working with kids in various settings, whether that is at church in nursery or Awanas or teaching in the classroom. When she is not teaching, she also enjoys spending quality time with family, watching and playing sports, reading, and crocheting.
