Elementary Campus Missions Days!

Academics

One of the favorite days of the school year!!

N. Raleigh Elementary-Students and staff spent the afternoon around the theme from Mark 12:29-31, “Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”’ Students made coupon books to serve neighbors, keychains to remind us to love our neighbors, cookie jars to give out, and learned how to share their testimonies and a song.

RTP Elementary- Our theme was “Love Your Neighbor.” We used the verse 1 John 4:7-8: Let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. RTP students went to various stations that helped them understand where love comes from, how to practically love their neighbor, and how to share the Gospel.

Apex Elementary- Centered around our theme of “Go Tell,” Apex students watched teachers and students represent various countries from around the world during our opening Parade of Nations. Afterward, students heard from speakers in vocational missions careers. Finally, students rotated through stations learning and participating in activities involving both local and global missions. The theme for Apex’s day came from the verse Mark 16:15: He said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.
