Alex Finch

A true bibliophile and linguaphile, Alex loves spending her time perusing libraries (even on vacations) and reading with her daughter—they love the 100 book checkout limit! Alex is originally from Illinois and enjoys visiting family there when she can. While she's unabashedly fond of the Midwest and the Chicago Cubs, Alex and her husband have been happy to call North Carolina home for the last decade.Alex taught English Language Arts for a little over four years before staying home with her daughter. She is excited to return to teaching with a parent's perspective. It is her constant prayer that her child will grow to be confident in who God says she is, and will be praying the same over her students and their families. 
When she's not at school or the library, she enjoys anything that requires creativity or promotes kindness, scouring the county for the best ice cream, walking, visiting the beach, and spending time with her family.
